Porvoo once again proved why it is the heart of Finnish Muaythai as fight fans packed the atmospheric Restaurant Fabriken, on August 16th, 2025, for the electrifying Battle of Porvoo – New Generation. The highly anticipated rematches lived up to the hype, delivering action, passion, and history-making moments in the ring.
The spotlight shone brightly on Chitalada Finland’s Jaey-Ar Peñol, who was crowned the new WMC Muaythai Finnish Champion, showcasing skill, grit, and the heart of a true warrior. Adding to the celebrations, Porvoo Thaiboxing Club’s own Onni Haapala rose to glory in front of the hometown crowd, capturing the WMC Finnish Title after a thrilling battle with Turku Muay Thai’s Veeti Liimatainen.
