The much-anticipated Duel in Flandres 2 lived up to its promise of delivering high-octane Muaythai action on Saturday, November 8th. Sanctioned by the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and the FFKMDA, IFMA’s sole French member, the event packed the Salle Legrand-Grubbe on Pierre de Coubertin Avenue with an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation.

The main event saw France’s two-time national champion Fabien Bareyre step into the ring against Sweden’s Dalian Dawody, a two-time IFMA gold medalist, with the coveted WMC European Championship title (76.5KG Super Middleweight Division) on the line.

From the opening bell, both fighters showcased world-class skill and determination, trading powerful strikes and technical precision. However, it was Dawody who asserted dominance, maintaining relentless pressure and landing clean, decisive combinations. In the second round, the Swedish powerhouse secured victory by TKO, with the referee stopping the bout to protect Bareyre after a heavy exchange.

With this emphatic win, Dalian Dawody is now the new WMC European Champion, adding another prestigious title to his already impressive Muaythai résumé.
