The KL Fight League Muaythai International 2025 takes place this weekend at the Datum Jelatek Shopping Centre in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. The event is sanctioned by the WMC and the Malaysian Muaythai Federation, IFMA’s sole Malaysian member.
The event features an international pro league with male divisions at 51–53 kg, 59 kg, and 63 kg, and a female division at 45–48 kg, showcasing top athletes from around the globe. The WMC Fight Night International Champion Belt will also be contested as part of the main event.
As part of the event’s grassroots development efforts, there will also be IFMA rules bouts to help shape the next generation of athletes.
The President of the Malaysian Muaythai Federation, Dato’ Shanaz Azmi, stated:
“The development of our athletes is the key to our success and can help prepare them for a career in professional Muaythai. Events such as these give us the opportunity to catapult our athletes onto the world stage—through domestic stardom and on to represent Malaysia at the global level.”
