Celebrations were in order on the Sunshine Coast in Australia on Saturday, as local muaythai prodigy Skylah Hamill bagged the WMC MAD title at Coastal Warfare. The Banana Bender pub in Queensland was the venue which saw a packed crowd of Ozzy muaythai fans and boasted an international fight card.

The main event of the evening saw two IFMA gold medalists compete in a bout with a WMC MAD title on the line. Ozzy fighter Skylah Hamill faced Malaysian opponent Nur Amisha in a bout set at 50.8 KG (flyweight). Both are IFMA champions, with Skylah having 3 x gold medals, and Nur x 2 in their respective divisions.

The fight was very competitive with Skylah winning at the end of five rounds by unanimous decision. At the end of the bout, both athletes embraced and congratulated one another on their performance, a sign of true sportsmanship.
