This weekend on Saturday the 5th of April, Warriors Way is back with a stacked card with some of Australia’s best Warriors at the Doncaster Shoppingtown Hotel in Melbourne, Victoria, for an evening of elite-level muaythai. The event is sanctioned by the WMC and MTA, IFMA’s sole recognised federation in Australia.

The culmination of the evening will be a WMC Super 4 tournament featuring Ben Killian, Keiarn Carr-Bannam, Jake Heavey, and Martin Nguyen, with the winner receiving the WMC Super 4 belt. Winners of the first round will go on to the final with both fights being comprised of 3×3 minute rounds.

Additionally there will be a an Australian title fight in the flyweight division between Jane Koo and Somsurat Rangkla in a much anticpated duel.

The WMC got chance to catch up with Promoter Mark “Hammer” Castagnini earlier today and he stated the following:

“Warriors Way has been around for 15 years and throughout that time very proud to be sanctioned by the WMC which is under Royal Patronage. We have produced some great champions and given many fighters opportunities from the show over the years that have gone onto great things. This is the first show back in three years and returning with a 4-man tournament and a special female title fight alongside a main event. The main event features two great muaythai athletes as Chris Nguyen, a regular on Warriors Way and Daniel Chen who started as a young fighter on the show and now headlining the card touch gloves.A great card with great talent and we look forward to giving more fighters opportunities in the coming events”.
