Keiarn Carr-Bannam Claims State Title in Thrilling Rematch Showdown

Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 — The atmosphere was electric at Doncaster Shoppingtown Hotel as fans packed in for a night of high-stakes Muaythai action. The spotlight was on the much-anticipated rematch between Ben Killian and Keiarn Carr-Bannam, this time with the coveted WMC Super Lightweight State Title on the line.

Following their razor-close battle back in April, anticipation had reached fever pitch — and the rematch more than delivered. In the co-main event of Warriors Way, both fighters brought unmatched intensity, going shot for shot in a back-and-forth war that kept the crowd on its feet.

Ben, who edged out the previous encounter, came in confident and composed. But Keiarn had a point to prove — and he did so in spectacular fashion. After several hard-fought rounds, it was a perfectly timed elbow from Keiarn that ended the contest in dramatic fashion, sealing his redemption and crowning him Victoria’s new Super Lightweight State Champion.

Respect goes to both warriors for laying it all on the line and delivering a battle worthy of the title. This rivalry has earned its place in the history books of Australian Muaythai.
