Thailand was deeply honoured by the gracious presence of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, who presided over an extraordinary occasion during the visit of Olympic legend and marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge.

Her Majesty inaugurated the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2025 and personally completed the 21.1‑kilometre half marathon alongside Kipchoge, inspiring more than 50,000 participants and reaffirming Thailand’s rising stature as a global sporting destination. Kipchoge expressed his profound appreciation, describing the opportunity to run with Her Majesty as “a moment of honour I will never forget.”

During his visit, Kipchoge also paid tribute to Thailand’s rich sporting heritage with a distinguished appearance at Rajadamnern Stadium, the nation’s oldest Muaythai arena. Kipchoge also trained with Muaythai legend Buakaw Banchamek, multiple‑time world champion and IFMA Muaythai Ambassador. Kipchoge praised Muaythai both as a cultural art form and as an Olympic‑recognised sport, highlighting its global significance and its role in promoting discipline, respect, and unity.

Guided by Her Majesty’s vision, the occasion underscored the harmony of international sporting excellence, the pride of Thai tradition, and the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to health, friendship, and peace among nations.
