Dorsten, Germany — Muaythai fans were treated to a night of top-level action yesterday as one of Germany’s premier Muaythai events delivered an unforgettable showcase of skill, heart, and sportsmanship. The event, professionally organized and sanctioned by the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and the MTBD, IFMA’s sole recognized member federation in Germany, brought together some of the nation’s finest athletes for a night to remember.

One of the evening’s most anticipated bouts was the WMC Interstate Female Title clash between Athena Thönes of Kim’s Gym Weimar and Ramona Gandenberger from Banzai Ulm. The two warriors entered the ring determined to leave it all behind, and they did just that.

From the opening bell, both fighters showcased exceptional technique and heart. However, in the second round, Ramona Gandenberger was forced to give up the fight, handing victory to Athena Thönes, who was crowned the new WMC Interstate Champion.

The event on October 4th once again demonstrated the growing strength and professionalism of the German Muaythai scene under the governance of the MTBD and WMC, with fighters, coaches, and fans coming together to celebrate the true spirit of Muaythai.
