February 25, 2568 – In a powerful display of skill and tradition, the Thai Army, led by Lieutenant Colonel Sombat Banchamek (Buakaw) and Superbon Banchamek, both esteemed members of the Reserve Center, Land Protection Command, hosted a martial arts exchange at the prestigious Cobra Gold 2025. This event, held at Suratham Pithak camp in Nakhon Ratchasima province, saw U.S. soldiers learning the intricacies of Muay Thai from two of the world’s finest fighters.
The training session, aimed at enhancing self-defense tactics and battlefield awareness, provided U.S. personnel with an opportunity to learn various Muay Thai techniques, such as powerful strikes with the fists, feet, knees, and elbows, as well as disarm techniques and defensive maneuvers.
