The Cat is out of the bag now as PFL have just released the breaking news that Monika Chochlikova will fight for the WMC Bantamweight world title (54kg) against Somratsamee on the 29th of March. The fight will take place on the PML event which returns to its native Trenčín and now enters its 14th edition which is sanctioned by the WMC and the Slovakian IFMA Muaythai Federation. Monika suffered a loss to Somratsamee on March 2024 at RWS and is eager to avenge her record.

Monika Chochlikova of Slovakia is the current and two-time WMC Flyweight world champion as well as a former WMC intercontinental champion. Aside from this she is also a two-time IFMA gold medalist and also World Games and World Combat Games gold medalist. If Monika can beat Somratsamee that will make her a double champ as she will consecutively be the current champ in two divisions,

Somratsamee, the reigning Rajadamnern Stadium champion in the bantamweight division (53.5 kg), has successfully defended her title twice. Her most recent defense was an epic victory over Monika, adding an intriguing backstory to her upcoming rematch where this time she heads into enemy territory to fight for the WMC World Title. Somratsamee also represented Thailand at the 2023 IFMA World Championships in Abu Dhabi, where she came home with a silver medal.
