The IFMA General Secretary, alongside UAE Board Member Tariq Mohammed Al-Mehairi and Board Member Ali Khouri, attended the finals of the UAE Muaythai Championships.

IFMA commended the exceptional organization of the event, emphasizing how it placed the heart and soul of the athletes at its center.

With nearly 1,000 athletes from 18 countries, the championship highlighted Muaythai’s strength and presence in Asia.

The General Secretary had the opportunity to visit Space 42, widely regarded as one of the world’s premier Muaythai arenas.

Taking time to engage with athletes and officials from various organizations, the General Secretary expressed his congratulations for their hard work and dedication.

He also extended his gratitude to His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Federation, President of FAMA, and IFMA Vice President, for his exemplary leadership, as well as to the entire organizing team for making this one of the most monumental Open Championships in Muaythai history, further demonstrating the sport’s ongoing growth.

Additionally, he acknowledged the UAE Minister of Sport, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and the National Olympic Committee for their unwavering support in this event, which serves as a testament to the strength of IFMA as the sole Muaythai organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
