The 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games is set to welcome over 3,500 athletes from 57 countries, competing across 23 sports in world-class venues throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This year marks a historic moment as Muaythai proudly makes its debut, showcasing the sport’s finest talent on one of the region’s most prestigious multi-sport stages.

Recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) under IFMA, Muaythai’s inclusion reflects its growing global recognition and its deep cultural resonance across the Islamic world. From its values of respect and honor to its emphasis on discipline and unity, Muaythai aligns seamlessly with the spirit of the Games.

IFMA extends its heartfelt thanks to the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and IFMA Vice President His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi for their unwavering support in bringing Muaythai to this historic event.
