Sarcelles once again took centre stage for world-class Muaythai action as Sarcelles Boxing Show 5 delivered an unforgettable evening of competition. The highlight of the night came in the hotly contested WMC European Title bout in the -69.5kg division, where France’s own Messie Kubila was crowned the new WMC European Champion.
Kubila secured victory by majority decision after a razor-close fight that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The WMC extends its respect and admiration to Italian challenger Franco Franzosi and his team, whose skill, determination, and sportsmanship were evident throughout the match. Their professionalism and fair play brought great credit to the sport and added to the evening’s excitement.
The World Muaythai Council would like to express its gratitude to the officials who ensured a fair and smoothly run contest:
- Ms. Linda Radon (Germany)
- Mrs. Jens Wilke, Supervisor (Germany)
- Semcheddine Semcha (France)
- Eric Goribe, Referee (France)
A special thank you goes to Mr. Gerard Bonio and his entire team for their impeccable organisation of the event, continuing to raise the standard of Muaythai promotion in France.
The WMC also extends its appreciation to the Mayor of Sarcelles, Mr. Patrick Haddad, for honouring the event with his presence and stepping into the ring to present the championship belt.
Congratulations once again to the new WMC European Champion, Messie Kubila, and to everyone who contributed to making Sarcelles Boxing Show 5 a resounding success.
