The Singapore Ranking Qualifier took place on Saturday at Club Luna, showcasing some of the nation’s top athletes in an all day Muaythai event. The competition was sanctioned by the WMC and IFMA’s Singapore Muaythai Federation which saw athletes compete for a chance to represent Singapore on the international stage at the International World Games, making this qualifier a pivotal moment for those looking to elevate their athletic careers.

The event saw all levels of muaythai from the grassroots muaythai fought in round robin format under IFMA rules right up to the elite level bouts under WMC rules. The event showcased Singapore muaythai at its fullest and the event was packed with muaythai enthusiasts.

President Mike Tang stated that events like this enable us to showcase our Singaporean athletes and propel them onto the international stage and are also very important for the grassroots muaythai helping to develop athletes careers.
