
The final night of the East Asian Muaythai Championships 2025 at Hong Kong’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Stadium delivered high drama and elite-level action, as hometown favorite So Chung Ho (HKG) edged past Wayne Low (SGP) to claim the WMC Asian Flyweight Title (51kg).

Contested over five intense rounds, the bout lived up to its billing as one of the most anticipated matchups of the championships. Both athletes showcased exceptional speed, technical precision, and unwavering determination, engaging in a tactical yet fiercely competitive contest that kept the crowd on edge from the opening bell to the final exchange.


So Chung Ho used sharp timing, crisp combinations, and strong ring control to apply constant pressure, while Wayne Low answered with intelligent movement, accurate counters, and moments of clear dominance that underlined his class and experience. At the end of the bout it was the Hong Kong athlete’s hand that was raised before been strapped up as the new champion.
