It’s time to relight the fuse as Swiss Muaythai has officially launched the WMC, hosting a program of a level never seen before. September the 28th at the Collège des Bergières will see the 1st WMC Swiss gala take place, entitled The FAV – The Golden Edition, which features a stacked card hosting the first national title.

The event will be held in the Olympic capital, Lausanne where IFMA has their office as an IOC recognised organisation. Many of the world-recognised federations are based in Lausanne and many members of the Olympic movement will be there to support the event.

Switzerland has a strong muaythai community with former RWS champion Daniel Rodriguez hailing from the country and the late Andy Hug being the first ever WMC world champion. Muaythai now returns to the Olympic capital of the world.

Headlining the event for the national title will be a fight between Clementine EGG who will face Malaika Hodapp in a much-anticipated bout.

Congratulations to promoter Dani Ronin for putting together an amazing card!
