Last weekend in Lampertheim, Germany, all eyes were on the sport of muaythai as Nak Muay – 8 Limbs came to town with another exclusive muaythai lineup comprised of Germany’s best athletes. The event which was sanctioned by the WMC, IFMA, and MTBD, the IFMA Federation of Germany took place in the Hans-Pfeiffer Hall.

The main fight of the evening was a title defense and rematch which saw current champion Leon Ballbach take on Aldo Leone. Last year’s initial bout saw Leon defeat Aldo in the first round but Aldo demanded a rematch and spent a lot of time training and plotting his revenge. The hard work paid off as Aldo was able to win by way of a unanimous decision in what was a close fight with both fighters giving 100 percent. Aldo Leone now has his eyes firmly set on the WMC European title for 2024.

WMC Representative Jens Wilke stated that this was another amazing fight once again showing how far German muaythai has developed over the last few years. 2024 is shaping up to be another strong year for professional muaythai in Germany as we have many events scheduled throughout the year.

From all at the WMC, we would like to congratulate all at Nak Muay- 8 Limbs for putting together another amazing show.
