Saturday the 23rd September will see the first event from the Asia Fighting Championship (AFC) in the beautiful city of Singapore. The event which is sanctioned by the WMC is a new brand and concept of the future of Muay Thai aiming to bring the best fighters together from the region to compete in events which will be hosted in cities around Asia.


The Championship aims to unite different nations through a provision of a professional platform for the showcase of the talent in the sport worldwide by working closely with local and international partners; selecting and recruiting the best of athletes across all nations.

President of the Singapore National Federation Mervyn Tan stated that this event has got everyone excited and the prestigous Marina Bay Sands Hotel is a great venue to kick off the championship. Muaythai In Singapore is growing from strength to strength and this will be a great opportunity for the local athletes to showcase their skills and help further promote the sport.
