The weigh-in of the 2 Nak Muays is validated for the WMC World Championship of 81 kg between the Frenchman Bilal BAKHOUCHE CHAREUF and the American Aaron ORTIZ. The pair will compete on Superstars Event 7 at the Pavilion Josephine in Strasbourg, France as the main event. The event is sanctioned by WMC France and FFKMDA, IFMA’s sole French member, and promises not to disappoint with a full international card of elite-level Muaythai bouts.

Both of these fighters are no strangers to IFMA and WMC, holding a plethora of Muaythai accolades between them.

Bilal has been on a path to the world title for several years, having previously held both the WMC European and Intercontinental titles, as well as being an IFMA medalist. He became the European champion by beating Spain’s Omar Moreno in 2022 with a second-round knockout. The following year, he faced Miguel Padilla of Mexico and won by TKO in the fourth round to become the Intercontinental champion.

Aaron won gold at the World Games in 2022 and is a three-time IFMA gold medalist. He has a wealth of experience in professional Muaythai and fought for the WMC world title in the UAE in 2022 falling short in a close bout. Aaron has since climbed back to fight once again for world title glory and has promised to make a statement with this fight as he heads into enemy territory.

Congratulations to both athletes on succesfully weighing in and we look forward to watching the bout unfold on Friday night.
