On October 13th, 2012 we will see one of the most successful female muaythai fighters standing in the ring for the last time.  Caley Reece has been an outstanding athlete with multiple Australian titles, IFMA World Champion title, finalist Sport Accord Combat Games and one of the selected finalists holding the WMC Female World Title in two separate weight divisions.  She has beaten the best in the world such as: Anna Willberg (Finland), Yodnampet (Thailand), Madeleine Vall (Sweden), Pantiwa Boontanai (Thailand), Magdalena Rak (Poland), Alena Muratova (Belarus), Aichya ElMaydy (Morocco), Jessica Gladstone (Canada), Jessica Sanchez (Spain).  Caley will again defend her title against Meryem Uslu from Germany, with many sport personalities travelling to Perth, Australia to honour the achievements of one of Australia’s finest athletes.  Finally, we congratulate her on her success and hope she will continue to give her support to the future of female fighters and the growth of muaythai sport recognition.
