Saturday, July the 16th was a night for the muaythai history books in Australia as Infliction Pro Fight Series returned to the Tallebudgera Leisure Centre in Queensland. The event boasted a strong international lineup with some of Australia’s finest Nak Muay’s gracing the show.

The co-main fight of the evening was between Australia’s Charlie Bubb and Kay Tschann from Germany with Charlie taking the win with a fantastic performance.

The main fight of the evening saw Chadd Collins from Strikeforce Muaythai Gym face Luktum Winnerfight Muaythai for the vacant WMC Intercontinental title in the Super-Lightweight division. This fight was a technical masterclass with both fighters locked in deep concentration. After 5 hard-fought rounds, it was Chadd who received the win, grinning from ear to ear as the belt was placed around him.

The WMC caught up with Chadd earlier today to get his thoughts. Chadd stated “Tum and I was always an inevitable fight, we were always going to meet in the ring. We had a great game plan that we executed. Every round I had to adapt and overcome what he was coming at me with. I couldn’t fight like a mongrel, I had to be better at Chess and that’s what I did.

A massive thank you must go to Andrew Parnham, Dan Bell, and Sy Nadji for the help to secure the main event against all odds! Thank you guys!
