The ASEAN Muaythai Championships marked another historical moment for ASEAN athletes. Organized by the Malaysia Muaythai Federation under the sanctioning of IFMA and WMC, the event truly showcased why Muaythai is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
Televised worldwide, the event served as the last test for the superstars before the Southeast Asian Games. Judging by the performances, the close contests, and the distribution of winning belts among Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam—along with runner-ups from Indonesia and Singapore—we are in for a treat.
