It was a great night in Perth, Australia, this weekend, Saturday the 1st of April as Domination 27 took place at the Serbian Community Centre. The event which was sanctioned by the WMC had a massive full international card featuring one world title, one intercontinental title, and one Australian title on the line.
The main bout of the evening was between Australian heroine Shannon Gardiner and Turkey’s Kubra Kocakus for the vacant lightweight WMC world title. The fight was exciting from the get-go with both fighters giving it their all. The fight went to the judges score cards after 5 rounds giving the decision to Shannon, much to the delight of her many fans in the crowd.
The second big fight of the evening was between Australia’s Jordan Godtfredsen and Ryan Jakiri from the Philippines for the vacant super lightweight intercontinental title. The fight started out very technical with both athletes landing crisp shots before Jordan stepped in with a perfectly timed elbow ending the bout in round 1.
The WMC Australia title bout saw Tyler Hardcastle face Nilson Laki Monsters Inc which was a great match-up with both fighters giving it their all. When the fight went to the judge’s score cards it was Tyson’s hand that was raised at the end.
Jay Fletcher also scooped the MTA title against Iskander Urbisinov via a points decision and Prabsuek won the Super 4 tournament after 2 gruelling fights.
The WMC would like to congratulate the whole Domination Team for putting together another world -class international event and we look forward to the next one.
