Another Legendary Fight Night was sold out promoted by South Afircan WMC promoter Dragon Power Promotions. That date is now set for the next UMF and Dragon Legends Fight Night for the 23rd of June 2012 6pm for 7pm sharp. Once again this will be an exciting Muaythai event;

The Main bout of the night
2 x SA champion in two weight divisions, Represented South Africa at the IFMA world Champs in 2010 and 2011, International WMC ‘Muaythai Against Drugs’ Champion Jarred ‘Rothweiler’ Rothwell from Cape Town vs 2010 SA under 71Kg Muaythai Champion Ceeh ‘Croco Croco’ Khuboni from Durban. This will be the first time they will face each other on the proudly South African UMF circuit. Ceeh has been fighting on the circuit since 2009, his last fight was in March this year at Grand Arena which he won on a TKO. Jarred has something to prove after his last not up to standard fight performance, Jarred has not lost a fight on the UMF circuit, he wants to be in the next Challenger series which is the biggest Marital Arts reality TV series in the world, he needs to up his game if he wants to reach and live his dream. Ceeh wants to make a statement that he is the best under 71kg Muaythai fighter on African soil.
The host for the evening will be super star from reality hit show “Way of the Warrior” and Radio Sports presenter personality Tapfuma ‘Twinkle Toes’ Makina. With special performance by the world’s #1 Ubuntu B-Boyz and the Amy Bhiel drummers dancers and the marimbas . Special guest appearance Gary Trappler IFMA Vice President, Sifu Kru Quentin ‘Dragon’ Chong, Sibak Kru Winston ‘Tiger’ Chong and Kru Lester ‘Mamba’ Lombard and many more local and international celebs.
South African Muaythai Championship will be part and one of the highlights of the fight Night including MMA fights
This is a selection process which at least 5 provinces will be competing to earn their official South African colours to represent South Africa team at the IFMA world championships in St. Petersburg, Russia, from the 5th of September to the 13th of September 2012. The world championship lasts over a week with 2000 athletes competing, 75 fights a day. For over 10 years South Africa Muaythai team has always brought medals back home. The significance of hosting the world champs in St. Petersburg, Russia, is that in Sept 2013 the Sport Accord World Combat Games will be hosting the prestigious World Martial Arts Combat Games. Muaythai sport is regarded as the main attraction at this event.
