Ignite the Fight returns on the 27th of August in the Hamilton Hotel for another evening of muaythai fueled action. The event which is sanctioned by the WMC and MTA now boasts its 33rd edition which is testament to how hard the team Ignite works. The muaythai scene in Australia is stronger than ever and the country is known for churning out tough fighters.

Headlining the card at Ignite will an epic bout between two warriors as they compete for the WMC Middleweight Australian title (72.5KG). Tristan Mcmanus from Iron Lundy’s gym will face Cody-Trae Jameson from Full Force gym in what is set to be a belter of a fight.

The WMC caught up with Cody earlier today to see how he is feeling ahead of the fight and he stated the following “I’m feeling amazing right now, the weight cut is going to be smooth, fight camp has been amazing, I re-fell in love with Muay Thai again and have a new fire in my heart to prove I’m the best in Australia at my new division”.

From all the WMC we wish both fighters the best of luck in their upcoming bout.
