Ramon Dekkers, Dutch Muaythai legend from Breda, passed away yesterday due to a heart attack on February 27, 2013 after feeling unwell and sustaining a bicycle crash while training.

A multiple time Muaythai champion, Dekkers was the most respected foreign Muaythai fighter in Thailand. He was the first non-Thai to be crowned Muaythai boxer of the year in Thailand, and has also received the highest Thai honours.
