Saturday the 10th of April in the Calicut District of the Kerala State, India hosted the first official IFMA Indian khan grading. The grading was a massive success with all participants passing with flying colours. The theory part was taught first before instructor Binu Joseph led the practical training up to Khan 7.
The President of UMAI Mr Prasenjit Singha stated that education is the key. In India we are trying to establish a strong base as we think that grass-root development is key to building a new generation of athletes. The IFMA khan programme gives students the ability to learn all the moves and monitor their progress accordingly with qualified instructors that have been assessed by Thai masters in Bangkok so we can have everyone studying under one unified system.
Congratulations to all the participants on passing successfully!
