The next highly anticipated Lion Fight 18 event will be on Friday September 5th, live from the Joint in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The main fight will feature former 3-time WMC World Champion and winner of the award reality show, Contender Asia, Yodsanklai Fairtex, will take on United Kingdom’s Salah Khalifa the WMC Muaythai Against Drugs (MAD) Champion. Yodsanklai is one of the main contenders in line to regain the WMC World Title, and a win in this fight, could set him up for title contention. A win for Khalifa would also set him up in the top 10 spot and a possible shot at the title as well. This will be a world-level fight between east and west, and regardless of the outcome, it will be a dream fight for any promoter.
The female fight is also a great promotion with Belgium’s World Champion Anke Van Gestel taking on the unbeaten Jorina Baars for the women’s welterweight Lion Fight strap, and the winner of this fight will also make it into the WMC top ten rankings with a chance a title contention.
