PML 7 took place this Saturday the 23rd of September in the vibrant city of Trencin with an all-star line up of local talent and international challengers. The event which was sanctioned by the WMC and IFMA was a co-promotion with RWS entitled Road to Rajadamenen where new talent could be scouted to potentially fight at the famed stadium. The Executive Director of RWS, Bank Thainchai Pisitwuttian was in attendance to preside over the event which was a real honour felt by all.

The main fight of the evening was a title defence between current World Flyweight Champion Monika Chochlikova from Slovakia and the Challenger and current European champion Magdalena Pircher from Italy. The fight began at a brisk pace with both athletes exchanging well until the end of round one when a perfectly timed head kick out of nowhere took the Italian fighter by surprise and down to the canvas. When Magdalena Pircher got back to her feet the referee and WMC official Gunter Plank waved off the fight in the event of safety.

Congratulations to Monika Chochlíková and her team on the win and also to the whole crew at PML for continuing to raise the bar for international muaythai!
