This weekend in the city of Bhopal India will see the first-ever Indian WMC muaythai ranking series take place. The event which runs across two days will feature some of India’s best athletes who will gather from around the country to compete for a place in the WMC Indian rankings.

WMC Promoter Mr Balkrishna Shetty stated that Muaythai in India continues to grow from strength to strength. The professional side of the sport continues to gain popularity so it is important to give the fighters a stage to fight on which can lead to international opportunities. A lot of work has gone into the event and we are looking forward to seeing the fighters in action in the ring.
