The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) will host the 3rd edition of COB EXPO, Latin America’s largest Olympic sports fair, from September 24–28, 2025. The event brings together national and international sports federations, Olympic champions, authorities, entrepreneurs, and personalities from across the globe in a true celebration of sport and exchange of knowledge — continuing the vision of Baron Pierre de Coubertin.

In a historic first, the Brazilian Confederation of Traditional Muaythai (CBMTT) — fully recognized by the COB — will participate in this year’s fair with two landmark events:
- Muaythai Festival: Featuring 300 children from the Gloves of Hope Project, inspired by IFMA’s renowned Muaythai Is Our Gang initiative. This program highlights the power of sport to inspire, unite, and create opportunities for youth.
- Thai-Brazil Connection: Organized in partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy, this special competition will see athletes vie for the prestigious Ambassador Cup Belt, proudly supported by the National Olympic Committee of Thailand.
The official opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM on September 26, with distinguished guests including ambassadors, government authorities, members of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, as well as Olympic and world champion athletes.
“CBMTT is deeply honored to showcase Muaythai on such a stage,” said the Confederation. “This is more than a competition — it is a celebration of friendship, culture, and the Olympic spirit. We are committed to delivering a world-class event.”

With the presence of global leaders, athletes, and youth, Muaythai at COB EXPO 2025 promises to be an unforgettable highlight of the fair, strengthening the cultural and sporting ties between Brazil, Thailand, and the world.
