The king of muaythai Saenchai is back in the ring tonight (Oct. 5) in Malaysia. Going through the ropes in Terengganu, the famed Thai athlete faces Korean competitor Kim Dong Hwan.

The pair headlines “DSPEX International Muay Challenge”. The event takes place at Stadium Tertutup Gong Badak, marking it the first time a Muay Thai competition is promoted in the State.

And yet, Saenchai, 38, again goes up against a much taller opponent. The 27-year-old Korean athlete is reportedly 1.77m tall, which makes it 14 cm height difference between the two.

The official weigh-in ceremony was conducted on Thursday. Both athletes made weight.

The fight card of the upcoming event also includes the likes of Mohd. Azri Nazman, Qhalid Saripan, Kabilan Jelevan, Maliki Che Mohd, Nigel Chong, Mat Yie Kayu Kelat, Fahmi Tok Merah, Luke Bar, among others.
