On November 24th in Edmonton, Canada’s third edition of  Muaythai Mayhem took place.  Representing Thailand in the main fight was Saiyok Pumpanmuang.  Saiyok won the Super 4 during the ” Muaythai Towards Highest Recognition” gala event held on the 3rd of April this year, which was also the date of the launch of the “Sport Is Your Gang” campaign.

Saiyok Pumpanmuang is an important fighter in the world of Muaythai,  the current Thai Welterweight Champion (67 kg) and until this year, at the SLAMM: Netherlands vs. Thailand VII in May, he had not lost a fight in four years.

 

Nonsai Sor Sanyakorn has a fight record of 65 Wins , 30 Losses. He is well known for defeating Dzhabar Askerov in the Thailand vs Challenger Event held at the Royal Paragon Hall Bangkok, Thailand.

The female bout of the night ended with a win for Lindsay Ball (Canada) over Nong-Nan (Thailand) by points; proving again that Muaythai is growing internationally with high quality professional athletes arising world wide,both male and female fighters.

Hakeem Dawodu (Canada) also notably defeated his Thai opponent, Rungjaras via KO in the second round.
