Saturday the 25th November at the world renound Muaythai gala, Rumble of the Kings in Sweden, saw Sofia Olofsson successfully defend her WMC World Champion Bantamweight (53.5kg) title against Iman Barlow from the UK.

The bout which took place in the Partille Arena, in Gothenburg was considered fight of the evening as both athletes gave it everything they had from the moment the bell went. After 5 hard fought rounds it was Sofia that emerged victorious displaying strong clinch skills and outscoring Iman in what was an amazing display of skill from both athletes.


Sofia Olofsson stated that this year has been amazing for me becoming World Games athlete of the year, IFMA champion and now to defend my WMC belt in front of my home crowd. Iman was no walk in the park and is an incredible athlete and I feel proud to have shared the ring with such an ambassador of the sport.
