The second round of the Top King World Series took place this past weekend in France. Four fights of the 154lb tournament as well a some super fights featuring some big names and world class athletes in the world of Muaythai.
In the tournament Marat Grigorian, Niclas Larsen, Marcin Parcheta, and Reece McAllister all advanced with their wins. Grigorian scored a decision over Abraham Roqueni while Larsen, Parcheta and McAllister all scored knockouts to advance.
In the super fights WMC World Champion Buakaw Banchamek dismantled Steve Moxon. Buakaw was in full control of this fight as he knocked Moxon down several times before finishing him in the third round with an elbow. Buakaw returned to action at Top King World Series II – TK2 France this past weekend against Steve Moxon. Buakaw was definitely zoned in and in peak form for this fight as he out classed Moxon throughout the fight before stopping him with an elbow in the third round.
Moxon is one of Australia’s top fighters but this fight shows how dangerous Buakaw is in the ring. Thongchai Sistonpeenong was also victorious on the night after out pointing Djime Coulibaly to win a decision.
