Residents of Calicut in Karala, India were in for a treat on Sunday as the WMC India Ranking Series came to town with a full fight card of muaythai action. This was the 7th edition hosted by WMC India and the fights certainly did not disappoint.
Fighters from across the country traveled to compete in the event in the South Indian state, each hoping to earn a spot in the rankings.
WMC promoter Balkrishna Shetty stated that events like these are what it is all about for our fighters. They work so hard in training so to compete and receive recognition makes it all worthwhile for them. We have many events planned throughout 2022 throughout India as we continue to push the sport we all love so much.
