The World Muaythai Council extends its heartfelt wishes for health and happiness to the entire Muaythai family around the globe. The year 2024 marked another pivotal year in our ongoing development.
In 2025, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the World Muaythai Council, commemorating three decades since its establishment by the Royal Thai Government in 1995 at the United Nations headquarters in Thailand.
Since its inception, the WMC has collaborated closely with the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) to promote Muaythai at all levels. In 2021, a significant merger was achieved, clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of both organizations under the guiding principle of “One World, One Muaythai.”
Looking ahead to 2025, we anticipate hosting over 1,000 events worldwide, ranging from national competitions to international championships, along with numerous other projects beyond the competitive arena.
