The city of Alcorcon in Spain recognised their local muaythai hero, Nayanesh Ayman in an event ceremony naming him Sportsman of the year this week. Nayanesh is the Fight Clubbing champion and WMC MAD champion following a valiant win over Thai superstar Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee of Thailand in late December. Nayanesh is a decorated muaythai fighter amassing over 100 fights and is a true ambassador of the sport inspiring the next generation.

Nayanesh stated that “Receiving this award as the best sportsman of the year in Alcorcón is a huge honor, but also a reminder of all the effort, sacrifice and fight that have brought me here.”

“My story hasn’t been easy. I have fallen many times, but every time I fell, I rose up stronger. Because success is not measured alone in victories, but in the ability to keep going when everything seems to be against you”.

“To the one who has a dream today, I say: don’t wait for the perfect moment, create it. Don’t listen to those who tell you it can’t be done, show them you can. The road is not easy, but with passion and determination, there are no limits”.

Nayanesh Thanked his city, Alcorcón, for always supporting him and stated “This award is not mine alone, it belongs to everyone who believes in the struggle, in the effort and in the greatness of never giving up”.

Congratulations to Nayanesh on winning the award and for inspiring the next generation of athletes!
